CL Quarter Finals – Draw Details

After Wednesday night’s dramatic action in the last 16 of the Champions League, the final 8 teams in this year’s competition are decided.

Liverpool are joined in the quarter finals by fellow English sides Man United and Chelsea – who they can now meet in the draw on Friday morning.

Then there’s Bayern Munich (victors over Real Madrid), Valencia (Rafa’s old club, although they could face severe consequences after the brawl which marred their win over Inter), AC Milan (maybe a re-run of the 2005 final?), PSV Eindhoven (whom we faced in the group stages and defeated Arsenal over two legs) and Roma (surprise winners over Gerard Houllier’s Lyon).

The draw for the final stages (including semi finals) is made in Athens on Friday morning (12.00CET).

The quarter final first leg will take place on either 3rd or 4th April, with the return leg just a week later on either 10th or 11th April.

The date of the second leg has meant the postponement of Liverpool’s home Premiership match with Middlesbrough, scheduled for Easter Monday (9th April), no new date has been set yet.

Who do you want in the quarters?

The semi final dates are April 24/25 and May 1/2, with the final in Greece on May 23rd.
