Next Up: Luton Town (H)

It’s Liverpool’s chance at a second go at League One strugglers Luton Town as they look to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup where they will meet the winner of Havant and Waterlooville vs Swansea City.

After the 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road last Sunday, the teams meet at Anfield on Tuesday night in the third round replay with financially stricken Luton knowing victory could keep their club alive.

Since last Sunday’s result, in which Peter Crouch gave the Reds the lead only for it to be cancelled out by a John Arne Riise own goal, Luton have lost two of their star players. Administrators were forced to sell defender Chris Coyne and midfielder David Edwards. Three more squad players have made way to raise cash too.

Liverpool could welcome back Daniel Agger from injury. The Danish international has not played since September 15th when he picked up a metatarsal injury during the Reds’ 0-0 draw at Portsmouth.

There could too be a debut for Slovakian international defender Martin Skrtel, who completed his £6.5million move to Anfield on Friday.

The match is live on Sky Sports. Kick-off is at 8pm.
