Liverpool fans are set to once again increase the volume at Anfield for another Champions League semi final against Chelsea tonight. With the home leg first this season fans know the importance of taking a lead to Stamford Bridge and will be providing the famous Anfield atmosphere to inspire the team.
In fact, the ground will quite literally be shaking when the Fernando Torres song, complete with the bounce, is in full song – many on the Kop against Arsenal said they felt the stand move and tonight it will be in full flow. [Youtube]
Some fans will be meeting in the town centre this afternoon and fans groups have encouraged people to get inside early to ensure the Chelsea players get a reception during their warm-up, just like in 2005 and 2007. John Terry admits the players were affected in both previous semi-finals and the Reds will be hoping for the same tonight.
