Liverpool are in Interlaken, Switzerland for their annual pre-season training camp and enjoyed a first day away from rainy England – by training in the Swiss rain!
Javier Mascherano and Dirk Kuyt joined up with the rest of the squad for the first time, as did midfielder Nabil El Zhar. While Sammy Lee put the players through a training session.
The Reds play Swiss side FC Lucerne on Wednesday (6:35pm kick off) in Grechen and Polish side Wisla Krakow on Saturday in Fribourg (5pm kick off).

One player not in Switzerland is goalkeeper Scott Carson, he was at the Britannia Stadium discussing personal terms on a 4m move to Stoke City.
