Having scored a record 77 league goals and 106 in all competitions this season, there was certainly a lot to choose from for our end of season top 10 goals compilation.
We asked members of the forums to vote for their favourite goals of the season and an impressive shortlist was drawn up. Who can forget Fabio Aurelio’s free-kick at Old Trafford, or indeed similarly at Stamford Bridge? There’s also a couple from Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres, of course. But there’s also one from Robbie Keane – remember him? – Andrea Dossena and a couple for Albert Riera too.
