Excellent write-up!!! I wish every LFC fan reads this article and appreciates the world-class manager we’ve got in Rafa. His records at the club should earn him more respect and patience from the fans than he’s getting at the moment.

Fergie took what.. 6, 7 years.. These are tougher times both on and off the pitch hence without investment in our squad then its going to be tough to win ANYthing.. Its a domino of:
Have depth in squad; perform well consistently; win games and trophies; increase fan base; get revenue (more games played and fans will attend games plus buy more merchandise); have money to build a 70-75K stadium; more revenue from stadium… etc etc

Alright quick history shank came and in motion the building blocks of the greatest football dynasty to ever grace the game followed by the true disciples of the bootroom from Paisley to my personal favorite dalglish success was instilled in the team the management etc we had players coming through the ranks we basically had passion. Now we have a man who has dismantled the very ethos in which shanks built for us destroyed the youth policy and you think shankly would approve well all I can say is I hope shanks is not turning in his grave cos I for one do not trust in rafa I would heed the words of someone like whelan who has been part of the success and remember the greatness of yesterday because tomorrow with RAFA and the YANKS is empty promises and excuses
