Glen Johnson and Fernando Torres have both been passed fit for today’s crunch clash with Man United at Anfield.

Captain Steven Gerrard however is not fit and isn’t in the squad, his place will be taken by Fabio Aurelio, with Yossi Benayoun behind Torres up front.

Michael Owen is on the bench, Berbatov and Rooney start up front for the Mancs.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Kuyt, Mascherano, Lucas, Aurelio, Benayoun, Torres.
Subs: Cavalieri, Voronin, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Degen, Skrtel.

Mancs: van Der Saar, O’Shea, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov.
