I’m still celebrating that performance.
Lucas proved his worth ( yet again ). Anyone who doubted him should hide their heads in shame. Now, hopefully all the besmirchers will lay off him and start to cheer him on when he makes a good tackle/pass etc. It’ll give him the confidence he needs to step out of Gerrards shadow ( no infearance here on Stevie, but it must be hard being compared to him by the media ), but we’ll need Lucas at his best as the season goes on. Carra was back to his best, (was it because he was partnered with Agger in defence )[ lucky on the Owen challenge though, I had my heart in my mouth, but it's about time we had a bit of luck go our way ]. But highlight of the day was seeing MR. Ferguson have a paddy on the sideline to the 4th official. Class.
10/10 to the WHOLE team and to Rafa.

What can one really say? 1) Lucas, Aurelio and Ngog are mediocre? 2) Rafa knows jack about recruiting talented youth? 3) You need a rich benefactor to buy the kind of atmosphere seen at Anfield? 4) Anfield is the new walkover soccer venue? 5) Rafa is washed out? 6) We can’t defend zonally if our life depended on it? 7) Carra is toast? 8) Liverpool are out of the running? HUH? Following a dismal run, where even beach balls beat us, now we “find” ourselves just six behind Chelsea. Our objective media’s a laugh. Like Tomkins I’m still shaking so many hours after our game. Siempre es posible. YN(Ever)WA(Ever)!

I am so pleased to see Lucas play so well, i recently read that Steven Gerrard said he was a great player in the making and the future of Liverpool. I just hope the fans who have given him so much stick will lay off, he is still very young and he is getting better and better. He just needs confidence, hopefully this will help him. Well done all the team it was great.
