Odin, we all love Carra and want him to become the boss one day. I have just finished reading his book, in which some of the comments he made with regards to Rafa and the yanks which you may be interested in. Like Carra, I find some of the criticism on Rafa’s signings and spendings unfair. The number of players who did not fit the bill which Rafa inherited from Houllier and the fact that he has to ’sell before he can buy’ policy are so often neglected.

we all love our team more than anything but listen here they have invested huge amount of money on liverpool more than any club owners in the last 18 month and we have what seem to the best squad deeper than any cluband we are seeing this but we should know they can’t control what goes on the pitch! I think you know who does!

Well said but if sameer al answerari (?) is a true lifelong reds fan then I hope as head of dic he would be able to cut us a bit of slack and bring us the investment we really need and also clear our debts

I totally agree with what is stated above, but in this day and age to you really think that ANY future investor is not thinking about our club as a product? It is simple business. Yes, they both have made horrible decisions on transfers and contracts and they really do seem to have the wrong priorities, but do you think that it will not happen again? Like I stated before…I totally agree with what is stated, but I am not wanting to trade 2 suits for another 2 suits that only care about the name Liverpool FC.

Silvias16 as regards to however the amount of money spent over the years comes to if on average it is sixteen million per season the I would like to see some of those signings not only doing well for us but also staying long term for example although bellamy has got issuses with his temper he could have been could for us in the long term espcially now with all the different injuries but rafa has an annoying habit of signing some players and letting them go the next season and well you may rather listen to the likes of tommie smith than the likes of me or others I would rather listen to ronnie whelan than you but rather than argue I will listen to you because you do have valid points and as a fellow red we all need to find a proper way to get our club back on track and for many of us that is to watch tonight and support our team and wait for the debating for another day also I pray we never lose the great gerro or torres, just out of in interest do you think carra is a potential lfc manager in say 5+ years or so I would love to see him one day take the position anyway goodluck tonight boys regardless of all our disagreements we all stand behind you on matchday

Odin, each of us here has a choice to believe what they want to believe. What is unbelievable is how one can possibly believe that the best midfielder and best forward are replaceable. As far as Rafa’s spending is concerned, I’d rather listen to Tommy Smith than to u or anyone else.
