Liverpool start tonight’s Champions League encounter against Lyon in France with Fernando Torres and Andriy Voronin up front.

Daniel Agger makes a welcome return to the centre of defence after a back injury, where he is likely to partner Sotirios Kyrgiakos. Jamie Carragher will most likely start at right-back with injuries to Glen Johnson and Martin Kelly.

Alberto Aquilani passes a late fitness test after recovering from flu and starts on the bench for the Reds, whilst there are also places on the bench for youngsters Ryan Babel, David Ngog, Jay Spearing, Stephen Darby and Dani Ayala.

Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Agger, Kyrgiakos, Insua, Kuyt, Lucas, Mascherano, Benayoun, Voronin, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Darby, Ayala.

Kick-off is 7.45pm. Discuss the match with other fans here.
