Jealousy reigns supreme as rivals revel in Reds demise

The day after the night before and the Liverpool FC newsfeeds are filled with all sorts of sensationalist headlines (and not just from the usual Liverpool ‘website’ which somehow hasn’t been banned from Newsnow).

There’s some other websites coming up on the LFC feeds today; ones like a couple of Chelsea blogs, 3 Tottenham blogs and an American soccer blog!

The best of the bunch is probably from the American based blog, where the author moans “Left backs were exchanged and Aquilani was brought on for 34 seconds.” Obviously he spent the whole match not realising Aurelio was playing left midfield not left back, bless him, and that bringing a player on when leading 1-0 is a common tactic to timewaste and disrupt any flow the opposition may build.

According to one genius Spurs fan, Rafa Benitez is “the worst manager in the Premiership”. While a Chelsea site somehow goes back to 2005 and moans about that goal (yes, that goal, the goal that was given instead of us getting a penalty and them being reduced to ten men for the whole match, proves how thick Chelsea fans are really that).

Funny isn’t it that it’s mostly non-Liverpool supporters bleating on about us and Rafa. It’s nice that they care so much though, maybe their inferiority complex gets the most of them.

Maybe we’re just not as fickle as the rest of ‘em?

    Who is this tsomethang that can only put blame on rafa. Although am not in support of rafa’s tatics in the game we’ve lost. Let rafa come out & explain to us why Aquliani cant pair mascherano in the midfield or better still Jay Spearing in the midfield. Let him give kuyt more playing time upfront ’cause he is strong to stand any defender. I’m very optimistic that we’ll bounce back to our winning ways by beating Everton at goodison park.

    Chelsea are just a bunch of thick over-rich spoilers bankrolled by a Mafia-Muscovite (in case a Chelsea fan reads this – if any can read that is, – a Muscovite is a native of Moscow, where your Red mans roots started)
    and Arse(nal) starts the team & the Manager Arse(ne)- no arguments there but at least he comes over more as a gentleman than the supposed Knight of the Realm. Actually Boots & Superdrug call their (K)Nighthoods by a different name – Durex ! also M Utd don’t even play in the city – no, Trafford is a district according to Government Council Tax Grants. & fergie is exempt from having a rear lamp on his bike – he just rides backwards – great nose !
    So to us ..we still have the ability to forge a future once the Yanks disappear. Remember all LFC fans – right from Bill Shankly’s days we have always been the most original with chants etc, the most knowledgeable of the game (not like the one-eyed Polyphemus’s at OT and London) and supportive … and NOISY so let’s all get back to Bill’s days and give 90 minutes of continuous Mega-decibels wherever we are Home & Away – let the players really know when they do good things on the pitch. Good, I feel better now – sod the rest, we’re the best.

    Yep, as predicted, it’s now Arsenal & Man City’s turn to be picked on by the media, pundits & busy-bodies (laping it all up) from other big clubs. Goes in cycles. Arseanl were outclassed by Chelski, again, despite Arsene Wenger being ‘perfect’. It just goes to show that money in modern football is everything unfortunately. Real, Chelski, Barca & Manu will win the silverware this year, simply because they can afford many many £15/£20m players and the huge wage bills that 20 such players demand. It doesn’t make Rafa or Arsene bad or average managers.
