The day after the night before and the Liverpool FC newsfeeds are filled with all sorts of sensationalist headlines (and not just from the usual Liverpool ‘website’ which somehow hasn’t been banned from Newsnow).

There’s some other websites coming up on the LFC feeds today; ones like a couple of Chelsea blogs, 3 Tottenham blogs and an American soccer blog!

The best of the bunch is probably from the American based blog, where the author moans “Left backs were exchanged and Aquilani was brought on for 34 seconds.” Obviously he spent the whole match not realising Aurelio was playing left midfield not left back, bless him, and that bringing a player on when leading 1-0 is a common tactic to timewaste and disrupt any flow the opposition may build.

According to one genius Spurs fan, Rafa Benitez is “the worst manager in the Premiership”. While a Chelsea site somehow goes back to 2005 and moans about that goal (yes, that goal, the goal that was given instead of us getting a penalty and them being reduced to ten men for the whole match, proves how thick Chelsea fans are really that).

Funny isn’t it that it’s mostly non-Liverpool supporters bleating on about us and Rafa. It’s nice that they care so much though, maybe their inferiority complex gets the most of them.

Maybe we’re just not as fickle as the rest of ‘em?

great comment they will all be eating humble pie once team gets confidence and injuries back.

Sadly, most footy fans haven’t got two spare brain cells to rub together these days

i suppose thats part of the liverpool way :) not caring about other teams unless it directly effects us. i think they enjoy seeing us fail or going through rough patches because deep down we’ll see things they’ll never see. 1 good thing come outa this is that maybe with the revenue the yanks lose outa this they might decide to f*ck off :D hopefully

i said it that rafa must get back up for torez in case of injury.but he stuck with voronin.now we are out of europe and the lig and are even struggling to make top 4,how the mighty have fallen.how can rafa reduce us to the likes of the wigans of this world with all respect due to them.rite now we are told he wants viera and vannilsteroy.shame on this failure.just resign rafa.if the owners are to blame, which they are, rafa must share the blame too.ppl credit rafa with winning the chmpions lig trophy in 2005,but most dont want to blame him wen the team is failing.u cant have yo cake and eat it rafa.if u win u are praised,if u lose u take the blame, dont blame feggie, the weather, the fa officials, dont even blame injuries to gerrard and torez becoz u should have planed for those eventualities.now that u failed to plan in advance,u have failed, are a failiure and must depart.u are only hanging on becoz u want to be fired and u know that those sorry owners wont fire u becoz u have a 20m bounty on your head.if u love liverpool, then resign and isint it your fans say u can walk into any top team in europe,so just go.

Don’t worry about Spurs fans. They’ve dominated Radio5 & TalkSport phone ins for years with their depression if they lose. For example, after going on a mega-spending spree, Spurs are doing much better, They lose to Arsenal, and they ring-in suicidal about they’ll never close the gap in class. The LFC struggles over the last 2 months have given others something to talk about. This time last year it was Spurs, then Arsenal, then Newcastle. Exactly one year ago, Arsenal fans (& neutrals wading-in) had it in for Eboue, Song, Diaby, Adebayor, Gallas, Denilson, various goalies, etc. Now, a year on, if they thrash a hapless Blackburn or the like, the Arsenal fans call the same players world-beaters. IT’S JUST LFC’S TURN TO BE PICKED ON. PEOPLE IN THE BRITISH ISLES LOVE A BIG CLUB TO STRUGGLE.

Who is this tsomethang that can only put blame on rafa. Although am not in support of rafa’s tatics in the game we’ve lost. Let rafa come out & explain to us why Aquliani cant pair mascherano in the midfield or better still Jay Spearing in the midfield. Let him give kuyt more playing time upfront ’cause he is strong to stand any defender. I’m very optimistic that we’ll bounce back to our winning ways by beating Everton at goodison park.
