Liverpool look set to sign Argentine winger Maxi Rodriguez from Atletico Madrid. [Full Story]

    This is a really clever signing and rafa couldn’t have done any better than that (if he actually signs him). Maxi is a quality player and he’s just what we need in kuyt’s position. I have always trusted Rafa in his signings and i am positive that he won’t prove us wrong, especially now. I am so excited!!

    crimson why does he not get into the atletico madrid team if hes that good? also there is a strong rumour that ruud and van der vaat are close to joining us too. How true are them rumours in spain? I think maxi is not that effective on the left as rafa always plays kuyt on the right so im hoping that maxi plays right wing. We desperatley need a striker and a left winger not right!!

    crimson thats fine but im getting the feeling the players are not responding to rafa at the moment. i hope he hasnt lost the dressing room.

    I agree he looks quality but we seriously need 2-3 new players. Van der vaat is class and nistlerooy has a great finish. The trouble is rafa, will he ever drop kuyt? i hope maxi plays on the right and just have 1 holding midfielder. Torres looks frustrated up front. We cant play aurelio and insua on left. We look lost at the moment. hopefully new players will bring some confidence in the team. I realy hope we sign Van der vaart hes creative for the left and maxi in replace of kuyt. I would play lucas,gerrad,in middle. Vaart on the left and maxi on right. Kuyt and torres upfront!I think Lucas is brilliant at the mo.We have to play football

    Excellent signing for RAFA if MAXI does move to anfield. With Van der Vaart, we will have fantastic winger for the 2nd half of the premier league.
    Dunt forget we need another striker in place for TORRES.
    Off load VORONIN, KUYT, LUCAS N NGOG.
