Liverpool Confirmed Line-Up

Martin Skrtel returns to the Liverpool starting line-up for tonight’s Premiership clash with Arsenal at the Emirates. He replaces the suspended Sotirios Kyrgiakos and is the only change  from the side that beat Everton on Saturday. Good to see Martin Kelly back on the bench again.

Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Insua, Skrtel, Agger, Mascherano, Lucas, Maxi, Kuyt, Gerrard, Ngog.

Subs: Cavalieri, Riera, Aurelio, Babel, Spearing, Degen, Kelly.

The penalty cry is a bit weak and desperate. I am tired of our season coming down to desperate. From the replay that I saw, cesc was outside the box. Regardless, we are lacking in attack without torres, and rafa went for a draw which is understandable, but we never looked likely to score until babel hit that rocket. When will rafa learn to field an attacking team. Yes we are slow and open to a counter attack of pace like arsenal, but we could have also taken advantage of their lack of confidence. What good are two holding midfielders if we lose? I would have rather seen us lose 3-2 or something like that in an open game rather than us trudge and clog the middle. Come on you reds, take down city.
