Welsh forward Craig Bellamy has completed his free transfer return to Liverpool, signing a two year contract at Anfield.

Bellamy, 32, arrives from Manchester City having completed his medical at Melwood this afternoon and agreeing personal terms with Liverpool after agreeing a severance deal with City.

Bellamy’s previous spell at Anfield was under Rafa Benitez in the 2006/07 season, when he made 27 appearances, scoring seven goals.

He left the club after an incident involving John Arne Riise, joining West Ham. He joined City two years ago but was cast aside by Roberto Mancini last summer and joined Championship side Cardiff City.

With Liverpool looking a little short of options in attack, Kenny Dalglish has opted to bring in the pacey player to provide cover and experience in the squad.

Welcome back, Craig.

i think BELLAMY is a good player who will surely made his name again in our lfc shirt, and i believed that BELLAMY lining alongside SUAREZ and KUYT also CARROL will be a very perfect stike partners  in lfc team.all we the lfc fans should pray is for all of them to be fit all time.

Bellers will bring that lovely bit of pace and tenacity up front that will really drive the opposition crazy. Imagine a front 3 against the top sides of Bellamy, Kuyt and Suarez… we’d put so much pressure on them that they couldn’t get their act together. It would work like a dream. I’m excited to have him back as an impact player. Well in, Comolli and Dalglish, and welcome back Craig!

    Welcome home Graig!

He left because of non-football reason. He is a LFC fan. KD probably is his idol.
To be able to play under his idol is more than an honor, he probably would lay down his life to do the job he is asked to by the King. :-)

Can’t stand him and I am sad that he is at Liverpool. He is an average player and a complete trouble maker.

Why has he played for so many clubs? Hell, lets just go and get Joey Barton while we are at it.

Very disappointed to see this guy in a LFC shirt.

We’ve got a really good mixture of strikers at LFC now, we’ve sent both Dani Pacheco and Villyan Bijev out on loan for the season so hopefully they’ll both get a nice bit of experience and if one or both of them make it at LFC then that’s great, I’ve also read that we tried to buy Jelavic from Rangers, he’s got an excellent goal scoring record at Rangers, but just 2 goals in 12 caps for Croatia, if we did show any interest in him I hope that this has now ended.

This is not about buying who ever has been bought ,but we should be able to prove a point this season by getting the league title, only that will be accepted, and should be worked for.

It would be nice but we have to be realistic. Right now the 2 Mnachesters are that little bit in front of us. A few injuries and falling outs might help, but lets be willing to settle for top 4 and win it all next season
