Carling Cup Quarter Final Draw – Chelsea v Liverpool

Liverpool have been drawn against Chelsea in the Carling Cup quarter final which was made earlier today. The game will be played at Stamford Bridge on either November 29 or 30.

Interestingly, Liverpool have been drawn away in all of our previous ties in this season’s competition having secured victories at Exeter City, Brighton and Stoke.

In other games, Arsenal face a challenging clash with Manchester City in the Carling Cup quarter-finals. Manchester United host Championship side Crystal Palace while Blackburn Rovers travel to Cardiff City.

    We got the draw I wanted against Chelsea, but look who Scum
    Utd get, (in theory) an easy draw at home to Crystal Palace, why am I
    not shocked at this draw?, oh yes because it almost always seems to
    happen to them.

    Well i wont complain because we will do it in style as always. For me our biggest priority this season is to make the top 4 champions league footballs more important in my opinion than winning the carling cup even though it would be great for us to win one of the domestic cups also. But i do agree Manure always come up smelling of roses but at this moment in time todays game against westbrom is more important C.O.Y.R.

    Dear me, It just had to be and could not have been at home at Anfield, no trust CHelsea to be drawn first.. I hope we can do as well against Chelsea as Arsenal did today. Cushy Man.U. Know it is not fixed but it makes you think as this happens every time,.Still lets look on the bright side we will beat CHelsea,lets be positive.

    It might be a blessing in disguise, we play them on a sunday before i think, then Chelsea have a Champs league game away in Germany (where germs are made) and then we play them again to give them a double dose. Do you remember when we won the Champs league last time and we had one of the toughest run ins ever but went on to win it? So what’s different, bring it on !!!!! As for Crystal Palace, they have hungry young players in their squad. We are on plan, hold fast boys.
