Around 40,000 people have signed an e-petition which calls for a new inquest into the death of Kevin Williams at Hillsborough. However, the law requires 100,000 signatures to debate in Parliament by Thursday, January 19th.

Kevin’s mum, Anne Williams started the e-petition as part of an appeal into overturning the accidental death verdict placed on her son.

Mrs Williams has evidence Kevin was still alive at 4pm and did not die from traumatic asphyxia. Original inquests into the disaster ruled all the victims were dead by 3.15pm.

No one should ever go to a football match and not come back. Justice for Kevin.

Sign the petition here.

Please note you must ensure you activate your registration via email after signing the petition. If you haven’t got an email in your inbox, please check your Spam / Junk email folder. The petition is open to UK residents and British Citizens.

It is about time this was sorted out for the poor family. They have suffered enough. Can they not do something right for a change and help the family out…They should. If they were in the family’s shoes how would they feel?
