Video: Dalglish puts journalist in his place after Evra booing question

In Kenny Dalglish‘s press conference following the 2-1 victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup on Saturday, the Liverpool manager could not contain his disbelief in being asked, “Were you disappointed that Evra was booed today?”

The Scotsman replied in a way only King Kenny could.

    That was a stupid question to ask. Dirty, lying ,cheating, detestable, scum bucket that is Evra deserved it. He’s lucky Liverpool fans are so respectable or he could’ve had things thrown at his big head.

    People forget quickly, remember when this Evra man led a mutiny playing for his National Team in the world cup, he is a disgrace.  No one supports racism at Anfield but this mans character is far from perfect, I would go as far as saying he lacks moral fibre himself.  why should Kenny worry about a man like this.

    Mind-boggling the media’s response.  I was listening to the radio last night and the general consensus was that the fans were booing Evra because he was black.  Just like they misconstrued the t-shirt thing as backing racist behaviour.  To be honest I’m most disappointed with the Liverpool backroom staff’s response in not putting more energy into clearing Suarez’s name.  Evra is one of the most evil characters in sport today and he’s being lauded as a hero.  Meanwhile everyone involved with Liverpool Football Club is being made to suffer, including the fans.

    Did Kenny not say after the Wigan game that the FA should do something about away fans abusing Luis Suarez? Stop shouting at Suarez but its just a bit of banter when Evra gets it.

      Bigherman ya comment is totally ridiculous! Booing is part of the game, personally shouting abuse at an individual, be it racist, slander or personal is what Kenny was backing Suarez for, when he gave the fulham fans the finger. This type of abuse is unacceptable! I’m pretty sure if Suarez was playing, he’d be getting boo’d by the Mancs, I’d expect nothing less…

    Just sad that Kenny had an opportunity here to use some common sense and make sure this thing shouldnt be tolerated, but what more did i expect. As mentioned below, definite double standards and still no sign of eating humble pie on the issue, surely by making some steps to settle this once and for all, then we can move on. LFC and it’s fans are trully disgusting and should be ashamed of their actions during and after this situation.

      The reason he was booed is because he is a cheat and a proven cheat at that, I think you should retract what you said because you have no right to speak for the Liverpool fans who quite rightly booed a cheat , Kenny was  right to question why that dick head of a reporter asked such a stupid question what was wrong could they not stand another Liverpool win over the mancs  Y.N.W.A
