PSG could make £35million offer to tempt Luis Suarez from Liverpool

Paris St-Germain are ready to offer Liverpool around £35million to let Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez leave to the French capital this summer, according to reports over the English Channel.

The Qatari owned club have money to throw around at the moment and are eyeing the cream of European football’s talent.

However, Liverpool will be reluctant to let their star player go, having backed him all season amid allegations of racism in the Premier League.

French newspaper L’Equipe say Suarez has been targeted by PSG for some time and last week manager Carlo Ancelotti all but told press the club will persue the signature of the 25-year-old.

“Luis Suarez? He’s a fantastic centre forward”, said Ancelotti, responding to several PSG transfer rumours.

He added, “There will be many opportunities in the summer transfer window because many players will be interested in coming to PSG.”

Many fans will think that Liverpool are now in a financial and footballing position to resist large bids for top stars, with Suarez himself owing the club a lot of their firm support this season.
