Line-up vs Udinese: Suarez spearheads Italian mission

Luis Suarez starts for Liverpool tonight as they go looking for qualification from the Europa League group stages at Udinese this evening.

Suarez is suspended for Sunday’s Premier League trip to West Ham, so starts tonight’s game which Liverpool must win to guarantee qualification.

A strong Reds line-up sees Jamie Carragher fill in for Daniel Agger in central defence, whilst Steven Gerrard and Lucas are rested, allowing Joe Allen, Nuri Sahin and Henderson to start in midfield.

Stewart Downing and Suso support the frontrunner of Suarez in attack.

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Carragher, Skrtel, Henderson, Sahin, Allen, Suso, Downing, Suarez. Subs: Jones, Cole, Coates, Sterling, Shelvey, Assaidi, Wisdom.

Kick-off in Italy is 6pm.

That one goal vs Udinese by Henderson is more of a contribution than Allen’s done in all his 20 appearances. This was arguably Jordans best performance for us, I too was one of his critics, but of all KD’s buys, he should be the only one with a future @ Liverpool.

So Allen playing out of position for 17 out of those 20 games means nothing to you? C’mon, man. While I agree that Hendo had a nice game, there’s a reason he doesn’t play as often as Allen. If anything, rip on Gerrards place this year over Hendo…not Allen who filled in the Lucas role.
