If Sturridge can GET IN, Reds can defeat Newcastle

This week we’re again teaming up with GET IN, the exciting new goalscoring prediction game, to help preview Saturday’s trip to Newcastle.

newcastleawayGET IN is easy to play. If you can pick six goalscorers from the weekend’s Premier League games you can win or share in GET IN’s Jackpot. It starts at a very handy £1,000 and each bet costs only £5. What’s more, it’s a pool betting game so the more people play, the more money there is in the pot.
On top of all that, even if you don’t get all six goalscorers correct there are still several weekly prizes to be won and all for just a fiver!

See www.playgegtin.com for more details. There’s a special 100% sign up bonus offer to all new customers this weekend so get in while the gettin’s good.

The GET IN GURU has plenty of handy hints and stats to help you make your choices, here’s what he thinks of the game at Newcastle this weekend.

The Opposition

[sws_pullquote_right]STAT:

Newcastle have won this fixture for the last two seasons (2-0 and 3-1). [/sws_pullquote_right] Newcastle have drawn only two of their past 24 Premier League games; winning seven and losing 15, so there should be goals aplenty this weekend.

We may or may not witness a 4-3 thriller like those of years gone by but there have been on average over 2.5 goals per game in six of Newcastle’s last seven home games so everything points to a high scoring game this weekend.

The Reds

Liverpool have drawn their last three Premier League games and it remains to be seen how they will cope for the rest of the season without Luis Suarez as his ban will take him well into the start of next season. In his absence it will fall to the likes of Coutinho, Gerrrard and Downing to come up with the bit of magic necessary against a Newcastle side who arguably have a lot more to play for as they attempt to put more distance between themselves and the scrap to avoid the third relegation place.

Key Man

Daniel Sturridge will surely be the man to watch. He made an instant impact when he came on last weekend and was unlucky not to get two after a terrific effort smacked the far post with Petr Cech beaten all ends up. The 23 year old will relish the opportunity to lead the line in Suarez’s absence and if last week’s game is anything to go by the Newcastle defence will have to be at their sharpest. Last week’s goal was just another example of his ability to score against the very best in the business, following goals against both Manchester clubs earlier in the season.

Daniel Sturridge Liverpool

The ex-Chelsea man is already Liverpool’s third highest scorer this year (behind Suarez and Gerrard) and will see the remaining games as a great opportunity to stake his claim, particularly if recent reports suggesting Suarez is considering his future at Anfield are to be believed.
So there you have it. Simply pick the six players you think are going to score this weekend and if they all score then you walk off with the jackpot. Whether you go for the ‘sure things’ or the thinking man’s outsiders, your picks could see you pocket £1,000 without breaking a sweat.
