Prior to Liverpool’s opening day victory over Stoke City at Anfield on Saturday, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers gave a compelling interview to BT Sport‘s Jake Humphreys.
As he showed the presenter around his set-up at Melwood, Rodgers spoke of the pressures of being a Liverpool manager – something quite unique owing to the club’s history of success.
Rodgers spoke very sensibly and logically, giving viewers an insight into his intelligent and level-headed mind, where he accepts “you won’t always be able to attract the big name players”.
