With both Chelsea and Manchester City dropping points on Saturday, Liverpool can go top with a point or more from Sunday’s fixture.

Yesterday’s results also mean that the title is in Liverpool’s hands for the first time since Christmas, with Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini still to bring their sides to Anfield next month.

The line-up is an attacking statement by Brendan Rodgers, with the front four of Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge, Sterling and Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez.

Substitutes: Jones, Allen, Aspas, Sakho, Lucas, Cissokho, Moses.

Tottenham: Lloris, Naughton, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose, Bentaleb, Sigurdsson, Lennon, Chadli, Eriksen, Soldado.

Substitutes: Friedel, Dawson, Dembele, Sandro, Townsend, Winks, Kane.

The Reds beat Spurs 5-0 when the sides met at White Hart Lane earlier in the season, contributing to the dismissal of manager Andre Villas-Boas, who was replaced by Tim Sherwood.

Liverpool v Tottenham gets underway at 4pm and is live on Sky Sports 1.
