QPR vs Liverpool Line-up: Sterling starts, debut for Emre Can

Raheem Sterling starts for Liverpool against QPR at Loftus Road (1.30pm kick off). There’s also a full debut for German midfielder Emre Can.

Brendan Rodgers make four changes in total, with Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique coming at full back.

Can comes into midfield alongside Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson after missing the last six weeks through injury, his two appearances so far have both been as sub.

There’s no Fabio Borini or Alberto Moreno in the matchday squad. Dejan Lovren is passed fit to start.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp names five defenders in his side, but drops Rio Ferdinand.
