Confirmed Liverpool Lineup vs Madrid: Wholesale changes for Reds

Brendan Rodgers makes wholesale changes to the Liverpool starting lineup against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu tonight (7.45pm kick off).

Simon Mignolet keeps his place in goal, but there are only three outfield players from the side that lost at Newcastle on Saturday.

Javi Manquillo and Kolo Toure come in in defence. Martin Skrtel captains the side.

Emre Can and Lucas Leiva come into the midfield alongside Joe Allen.

Lazar Markovic and Adam Lallana come into the attacking midfield spots, with Fabio Borini up front.

An extremely strong subs bench features Steven Gerrard, Raheem Sterling, Mario Balotelli, Glen Johnson, Philippe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson.
