Bogdan, 27, impressed against Liverpool in the 0-0 FA Cup fourth round game at Anfield in January – a time when he wasn’t first-choice at Bolton.

Since then he’s re-established himself in Neil Lennon’s starting XI but looks set to leave the club when his contract expires this summer.

Reports claim Liverpool will acquire the Hungarian, who made 24 appearances for Wanderers when they were last in the Premier League in 2011/12.

German sides Stuttgart and Hannover, plus Stoke City, are also linked with a move for Bogdan.

He would become the third out of contract player Liverpool are expected to acquire this summer, adding to James Milner and Danny Ings.

Liverpool have been linked with a number of keepers to replace the departing Brad Jones this summer, including Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas.
