Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers’ pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s match at Old Trafford against Man United.

Much of the attention was on Daniel Sturridge‘s recent return to full training, with Rodgers saying the striker looks “really, really sharp” and probably the fittest he’s been for 18 months.
Rodgers didn’t put a timeline on the 26-year-old’s return though.
There was also a question on Dejan Lovren – who made two errors for goals against West Ham. Rodgers said that the team must accept collective responsibility for the defeat and that Lovren now needs to show character.
