Augsburg coach predicts Jurgen Klopp will not underestimate them

Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl insists compatriot Jurgen Klopp will not under-estimate them in their Europa League last 32 clash.

The draw in Nyon presented Klopp with a return to his homeland with Liverpool and although the Bundesliga minnows, currently 13th in the Bundesliga, will be the outsiders Weinzierl knows Klopp will be leaving nothing to chance.

"The anticipation of facing Liverpool is huge. Everyone was happy," he told a press conference.

"Liverpool are a cult and Jurgen is a huge name in Germany so I'm happy for the whole club.

"We will do everything in that we can. This game is something special.

"We will be underdogs against Liverpool but this is a role we like to assume.

"We have courage and confidence. Jurgen Klopp knows us and will not under-estimate us."

Augsburg and Liverpool have never met before, with German forward Karl-Heinz Riedle the only player to have played for both clubs, according to LFC History.
