“Unbelievable !!! what a comeback” – Liverpool players react to memorable night at Anfield

After Liverpool fought back to beat Borussia Dortmund on a memorable night at Anfield, we round up how the Reds reacted to the unbelievable victory across their social media accounts.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds added another unforgettable European night to Anfield’s history books as they sealed their place in the Europa League semi-finals with a 4-3 win.

Trailing by two goals twice on the night, it appeared Liverpool’s European journey was over after first half strikes from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emmerick Aubameyang and a second-half effort from Marco Reus.

But Klopp’s side, roared on by a deafening Anfield atmosphere, showed their fighting spirit once again with a wholehearted display that saw Philippe Coutinho pull one back and Mamadou Sakho level the score before Dejan Lovren’s header claimed a memorable victory.

The sheer joy from such an incredible and thoroughly deserved victory prompted the heroes of the night to express their delight and share the moment with fans post-match.
