“Work to do ahead of the final” – Liverpool fans react to late draw with Chelsea

Following Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday, we bring you the best social media reaction to the game.

The Reds were far from their vintage best against the Blues, with next Wednesday’s Europa League final against Sevilla clearly in the back of the players’ minds.

Eden Hazard scored a brilliant solo effort to give Chelsea a half-time lead, but Christian Benteke’s stoppage-time header earned Jurgen Klopp‘s men a point.

Liverpool end their Premier League campaign away to West Brom on Sunday, before their aforementioned season-defining clash with Sevilla three days later.

Here is how supporters reacted to the draw at Anfield.

Very few positives there. Benteke positioned himself well for the goal, something he hasn’t done that often this season. Ojo got another assist, I think that’s either 3 in 4 games or 4 in 5 games. Toure and Allen have passion, something the rest of the team really need.

Exciting. Passionate. Skilful. Transcendent…are all words that nobody in their right mind would use to describe that performance.

We didn’t start playing until Allen and Benteke came on. And we livened up after Ojo came on. Only took all of 80 minutes for us to even look like we knew what we were doing.
