Video: Jurgen Klopp insists on importance of Liverpool’s Premier League finale at West Brom

Despite Liverpool’s Europa League final against Sevilla just days away, Jurgen Klopp insists all focus is on beating West Brom in their last Premier League game of the season on Sunday.

The Reds travel to The Hawthorns to finish their domestic campaign, with a top six finish still possible – despite Liverpool starting the weekend in eighth place.

Speaking to the media at Melwood on Friday afternoon, Klopp faced questions mostly relating to next week’s final in Basel, rather than this weekend’s trip to the midlands.

Nevertheless, Klopp insists the clash at West Brom is the current priority for his team.

“I think it was quite a successful season for West Brom,” Klopp told press. “They will have a good finish of this season – 100%.

“We will try to find the lineup to win at West Brom – that’s my job and we will see what happens.

“But for us, in this moment, it’s the most important thing in the world.

“Because it’s the only thing we have to do. Sunday afternoon, playing at West Brom, and if possible, win the game.”

West Brom vs. Liverpool gets underway at 3pm on Sunday, 15th May 2016. As ever there will be live coverage on This Is Anfield.
