Kolo Toure spoke to the media at Melwood on Friday to preview Liverpool’s final Premier League game of the season at West Brom and Wednesday’s Europa League final against Sevilla.
Despite the final being just days away, Toure insisted that the focus is on getting three points at The Hawthorns on Sunday — a result which could, depending on other matches, see the Reds finish the campaign in sixth place.
However, unsurprisingly most of the questions from the press were on the clash in Basel in mid-week, and the many narratives it throws up.
“Winning the final would mean a lot to me,” he said.
“Every club I’ve been I’ve won a trophy, and I want to do the same for Liverpool.
“For the fans, we have a special relationship.
“I will enjoy every day that I’m here, and this game is going to be massive.
“We will give everything we’ve got to try to make them happy.”
West Brom vs. Liverpool gets underway at 3pm and there will be live coverage on This Is Anfield.
Liverpool vs. Sevilla gets underway at 7:45pm on Wednesday night, with build-up and coverage throughout the week on This Is Anfield.
