Jurgen Klopp has called upon his four most productive attackers for his starting lineup for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Hull City.
The Reds take to the KC Stadium looking to return to top form in February, having rounded off a miserable January with a spirited 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea.
Taking on Marco Silva’s much-improved Hull, Liverpool still have a major task on their hands, but are buoyed by the return of some star names.
For the first time since the 6-1 win over Watford on November 6, Klopp has been able to name Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino from the start.
Meanwhile, Simon Mignolet will be hoping to build on his penalty save against Chelsea with another strong showing between the sticks.
Ahead of Mignolet, Nathaniel Clyne, Joel Matip, Lucas Leiva and James Milner start as Klopp’s back four, with Jordan Henderson as No. 6.
Lucas starts at centre-back due to the absences of Dejan Lovren (knee) and Ragnar Klavan (illness).
Lallana is also able to return in his impressive midfield role, joined by Emre Can to provide box-to-box support.
With Mane back from the Africa Cup of Nations and Coutinho reaching full fitness following an ankle injury, the wide duo both start alongside Firmino, who is primed to take up his regular centre-forward duty.
As Klopp’s starting options improve, so too do his substitutes, with Loris Karius joined by Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alberto Moreno, Georginio Wijnaldum, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.
