FIFA 18 is released later this month, and the ratings for Liverpool’s first-team squad have been revealed by our friends at The RedmenTV.
The much-anticipated game will be on sale from September 29, with football fanatics all over the world keen to get their hands on it.
It is always interesting to see how Liverpool’s players are rated on the FIFA games, and this year that is no different.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it is Philippe Coutinho who is seen as the Reds’ best individual, with the Brazilian’s overall rating of 86 making him the 51st-best player on the game.
He is tied with the likes of Isco, Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku and Thomas Muller.
The only other Liverpool player to make it into the top 100 is Sadio Mane, with the 25-year-old rated narrowly inferior to Coutinho (84) and in 98th place.
The quartet of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Adam Lallana and – slightly strangely – Joel Matip are next up with 83, while Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, Daniel Sturridge and Nathaniel Clyne are one rating lower (82).
Emre Can has every right to feel very aggrieved about only being 79, with the game bizarrely putting both Dejan Lovren (81) and James Milner (80) ahead of him.
Simon Mignolet (81) just edges fellow goalkeeper Loris Karius (80), and new signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is the same as the German.
Away from Liverpool, Cristiano Ronaldo (94) takes top spot ahead of Lionel Messi (93) – a decision that will baffle many, despite Ronaldo’s undeniable brilliance – with the 92-rated trio of Neymar, ex-Red Luis Suarez and Manuel Neuer completing the top five.
