After the Champions League semi final clash at Chelsea it’s another trip south for the Reds as they travel down to the south coast to face Harry Redknapp’s Portsmouth.
They will be up against former keeper David James who last week beat the Premiership record for cleansheets in a career.
There could be several changes from Wednesday’s team, Steve Finnan will hopefully return from a neck injury and set himself up for Tuesday’s crucial second leg at Anfield, while others like Alonso and Kuyt may be rested ahead of that rematch with Chelsea.
