It is almost a month now since Liverpool FC launched their official TV station and became the first English club to offer a dedicated TV channel to supporters without a subscription charge or annual contract.

That is because LFC TV comes as part of the Setanta Sports package and is available to Sky (channel 448) and Virgin (channel 544) customers, as well as being available as part of the lfc.tv e-season ticket. LFC TV and Setanta Sports can even be purchased if you have a freeview box with a viewing card slot.

Presenter Claire Rourke: Good enough reason to tune in?

The cost of subscribing to Setanta Sports is less than a tenner and gives supporters access to LFC TV and various other sports channels offered by Setanta (Rangers and Celtic have their own channels too).

LFC TV itself includes the well named This Is Anfield fans talk show, all reserve matches live, delayed full coverage of all LFC matches, focus on academy and the LFC Now news show.

Former legend John Barnes has his own chat show where he interviews current players and staff, and various other legends feature heavily on This Is Anfield and in the dream team and ’60 minutes with’ shows.

There’s also various shows looking at the clubs history including Dream Team, Premier League Years, Goal Rush, Kop 10′s,

The John Barnes show, This Is Anfield and top 10′s shows in particular are proving popular with fans.
