Liverpool defender Alvaro Arbeloa has confirmed he is not certain he will be staying at Anfield beyond this summer.
The Spanish right-back has been linked with an £8million move to La Liga giants Real Madrid and Arbeloa, currently in South Africa with his country in the FIFA Confederations Cup, says he’ll sort out his future once the tournament is over next week.
He told Marca, “I would be lying if I said I was sure to start the season with Liverpool.
“I’ll be able to think about all this by next Monday.”
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez conmfirmed yesterday that with one year left on Arbeloa’s contract at the club, he would be open to listening to offers for the 26-year-old. [Full Story]
