In their penultimate pre-season friendly, Liverpool do their familiar trip to Norway where this time they face FC Lyn in Oslo.
After the 3-0 defeat to Espanyol in Spain on Sunday night, Rafa Benitez will be hoping his players can step up a gear ahead of Saturday’s game at home to Athletico Madrid and the start of the new Premier League season a week on Sunday.
Benitez has almost a full squad to choose from, aside from injuries to Martin Skrtel, Nabil El Zahr and Fabio Aurelio.
Glen Johnson could get another outing at right-back for the Reds after Emiliano Insua impressed at left-back during the first half at Espanyol.
Transfer rumours continue to surround both Xabi Alonso and Andrea Dossena and their appearance in Norway prove where their futures lie.
Kick-off on Wednesday night is 6pm (UK).
