There were fantastic performances all over the pitch on Sunday as Liverpool swept aside Manchester Utd to end a run of four defeats.

At the back both Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger performed heroically in the heart of the Reds defence, throwing themselves in front of shots.

In midfield the great mastermind of Yossi Benayoun set up Fernando Torres for Liverpool’s first, whilst Lucas had a solid game in central midfield, assisting David Ngog for the second.
