In July 2007 Liverpool unveiled new designs for their Stanley Park situated stadium, with an initial 60,000 capacity with the ability to expand it to the higher 70,000.
The new design, by architects HKS, is very unique, modern and eye catching - see the images below;

The new stadium will feature a “skywalk” above the Kop, with a restaurant, cafe and bar enabling fans spectacular views over the pitch and the city itself.
Within the Kop end will be a musuem ‘charting the club’s history domestically and worldwide’.
The new ground will be very ‘green’ and include a water retention system to re-use rainwater on watering the pitch etc.
