The TIA vs NSNO Merseyside Fans Derby has been confirmed for Saturday August 19th with 10:30am kick off at Stanley Park. The match is taking place between two fans websites thisisanfield.com and nsno.co.uk.
The match will be played between the two opposing Merseyside fans sites, with proceeds from players and fans going to two pertinent charities involved with each club; The Hillsborough Justice Campaign and the Everton Former Players Foundation.
This Is Anfield are still on the lookout for a good goalkeeper so if you fancy yourself as our Jose Reina for the day, or know someone who does, please get in touch in the forums or email mulla@thisisanfield.com.
It is hoped that fans will come along for the match and donate to the worthy causes, the HJC are supplying shirts for all This Is Anfield players (if your a player please contact Mulla asap with shirt sizes etc). Then afterwards watch the real Reds in action against Sheffield United in the early kick off on the opening day of the season.
