[...] This is Anfield Kop Blog: All in all these two seem to be a perfect fit and have the necessary funds and experience in the right areas to really make this club a force to be reckoned with both on and off the field. This deal has brought us everything we could have hoped for. [...]

I wish you guys would take it easy on our blueshite visitors. Afterall, if recent reports are to be believed, its good of them to get Manuel Fernandes fit for us.
I think its a good idea for foreign players to adapt to Premiership football at a smaller club before signing for one of the big clubs.

Once again good to see blueshite fans visiting a liverpool site. This gives you a chance to see how fans from a "big" club act, including - conversations about transfers that might actually come to the club rather than turn their nose up at the thought of playing for a club making up the numbers (ie. a small club), conversations about the real possibility of winning trophies and of course conversations about previous trophies, footballing legends who have played for the club and a fan base you could only dream of. Having an inferiority complex is a real bitch innit!

i'm getting very tired of hearing the opinions of everton supporters on this blog. if i wanted to hear them, i would seek them out.

i know this is unrelated to the current blog (and our club), but i just wanted to ask what people thought of henry and kirkland yesterday? personally, i think henry was totally out of line. wenger has said what he did was the right thing to do, as well. unbelievable. the thing i can't believe is that arsenal is getting upset at a team for time wasting - when they themselves are quite possibly the biggest culprit of time wasting in the entire league. lehman especially, but all of them. everybody talks about henry and arsenal being such great ambassadors for the game, when personally, and it's not because i don't support them, i think arsenal are not. not to mention the fact that wigan were denied a clear penalty to take the game 2-0, and then aliadiere was offside on their first goal.

well, its better to have the club in the hands of a calm poorer american than in the hands of a hot-headed filthy-rich sheikh i guess.. just imagine the sheikh withdraw all transfer funding for the season just cos we lost some crucial match? that'd be a disaster. I was quite honestly relieved to see DIC pulling out of the deal. :)

We've done it again at St. James Park. Liverpool has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory again. I do feel that all three of our current first-choice strikers are good, but not great. Liverpool has still been sorely missing a top-class goal poacher since Michael Owen left.

I have read that the design of the new stadium is so that it will reverberate the noise made by the fan's to a bigger crescendo than it actually is,as most of you lad's have writen, there are great time's ahead, leaving anfield wil be soul destroying for many fan's although i personally think the heart of the ground was taken away when they introduced seat's in the kop, just to stand there especially 5 mins before kick off made the hair's on my body stand on end, i tell my boy's that there is no feeling on earth to compare.
so let's all look to the future,if things go pear shaped (i dont think they will) we will be no better off than we were before. YNWA

I have to apologize for slagging mr moores earlier on the way he shut out DIC and went for YankX2.

New information have been coming out only now as to why he did so... I guess this is what we call trusting in the man... and I didn't do it. So, Mr. Moores, you certainly were entitled to more time when you had to decide who to pass on the ownership of LFC to after all that you had sacrificed for.

There are a lot of IFs here... and rightly so, but we all dream of good things... now, we have this chance to make it happen. There is certainly a great chance of making this the best and biggest most attractive club in the world... officially. We have Mr Benny who has not only formed a better performing first team, he has also brought in many many youngsters to fight for first team as well as to develop on. In Mr Benny we have one man with a great vision and we need to give him the freedom and trust and now the means to carry out this vision.

Our new top guys come in with not only cash, but also experience in marketing, sports, stadiums and winning. These ingredients along with their sons bring about a sense of good things... sure they may sell out one day but... that's only when we succumb to failure ... to stop generating income... to not only team without success but also without potential for success... quite hard to imagine that happening... but that's a big IF... and one I am willing to live with for now... cos we have the players, we have the manager, we are getting the stadium and we will be getting more income through many other marketing strategies... all in all will generally come form the success on the field.
