Oh and Digger I meant to say this earlier... do you know Flynn's bar on Queen's Boulevard?

I think that's the name. I met a bluenose today who lives in Queens. Scouse lad, said that's the Blue Boys bar in Queens.

Knight Sir, I might still be coming to Thailand. It's not for definet but it's more than a good possibility. I'll know for sure with in the next couple of days by the latest.

There hasn't been much information over here, all I know is it's a 2 0'clock kick off in the national stadium. There isn't even any ticket news over here. Any info you have will be more than helpful.

Yeah as things stand now,Rafa seems to have the upper hand. I think its true, we wont go to the field with 9 players. My point is not to say that Xabi Alonso and Mascherano are the only reason why we can win the league. If they go, we just should forget winning it. Thats not my point.
What i am trying to say is if we are looking ourselves as the Champions of England next season, the need for a settled squad, more importantly the need for a settled midfield is an absolute must. In many of the matches when Manchester United didnt play well last season it was either because of their defense or the poor midfield performances.
Carrick, Anderson etc had many games where they just could not strike chord with the front players. For us, the midfield played in tandem with the attack and hence we got so many goals.

So all i am saying is, loosing two of our key players will hurt our chances to win the league next season. I never said that Liverpool are nothing without Xabi and Masch. In fact Liverpool made them what they are today. My senior friends FS,KopKing and KD are misunderstanding me. Its just that whoever comes as replacement(If at all Xabi or Masch leaves)wont be able to perform and have an impact in his first season.

I have posted once everyday and i always mention that i believe we wont sell either of the two. With each passing day my hope gets stronger.

Here's all the info on the upcoming games...
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets/info.htm

No problem Andy, just let me know if it comes off. You can't miss me and the lads... I'm the skinny good looking one and one of the youngest on the firm. And honest, I'm not just saying that for a laugh. We'll be the big fat old boys singing and carrying on like teenagers in the nearest pub.

As for Masch and Xabi... Sadly the Xabi saga could go on for a couple of weeks yet. Obviously there will be things going on behind the scenes, but he doesn't return to training until July 19th. I think Mascher's case should become clearer sometime this week. But who knows.

All I can say is, I have complete faith in Rafa to solve it all in the best possible way for the club. And no, that doesn't mean I think they'll both stay. It means exactly what it says... Rafa will make the best out of any possible scenario, whether that means hanging on to both players or cashing in for top dollar and bringing in replacements. And yes, I do know that time is against us in that regard.

Fuck me, I feel like I need to say... and that's my summation, M'Lud.

FS, would love to catch you for a pint on the day if you're up for it. I'll wait til I've got things confirmed at my end before trying to organise anything though. The bird I'll be going with is a Spurs fan who works with them, so as I said unfortunately I'll probably be stuck as the one red shirt in the home end.

FS you're also of course right that there is no argument for why we can't win the title without Xabi and Masch - there are only arguments as to why our chances are better with them in the team. And those "arguments" are pretty pointless because we all agree on the strengths they give us. What nobody knows is how we would fare without them, but as ever, all we can do is show up and support the team.

Less than a week til the team head to Asia for some pre-season matches, right? If there's to be any new additions, it'd be nice for them to arrive in time for those matches...

It's enough. I guess Messi doen't hav any of his own business. He needs to mind his own work. The little ***h**e keeps commenting abt Masch day and night. Either the press hav been exagerrating his comments or he has gone nuts.

it can be a bit tedious at times but educating the masses isn't easy. I'm feeling more confident than I have for years that we will win he league. I always hoped we'd win but never felt confident like the old days. Now whoever we play I'm confident of a result against them and that's down to rafa, so even if xabi and monter go why should we all throw in the towel. In fact nothings even happened yet. I think xabi and mash will be with us for 1 more season at least.
