  • Liverpool will be wearing their all red Reebok kit (not new Adidas as reported elsewhere).
  • Liverpool will be occupying the ‘lucky’ North dressing room, and therefore their fans in the North End (as per previous finals) meaning parking etc will be to the north of the Millennium Stadium. The City Arms pub is sure to be the meeting place for many - again!
  • Officials will be: Referee: Alan Wiley
    Assistants: Peter Kirkup and Darren Cann
    Fourth Official: Phil Dowd.
  • Winning team will receive 1,000,000 pounds, runners-up will receive 900,000 pounds.
  • Kick off will be 3pm, although rumours are that BBC are attempting to move it to 5pm are very doubtful.
