 Chelsea win 3rd place play off

Chelsea won the Champions League third place play off at Wembley Stadium against Man United on Saturday afternoon.

It was a poor match which showed why both teams were dumped out of Europe’s elite competition in the semi finals, against Liverpool and AC Milan respectively.

Didier Drogba scored the only goal with six minutes of extra time remaining.

The real trophy will be won on Wednesday night in Athens, a trophy which is coveted throughout Europe.
