Liverpool Chief Executive Rick Parry has refused to leave the club, despite calls from club co-owner Tom Hicks calling for his resignation.
As previously reported this afternoon, Tom Hicks has sent Parry a letter asking for his resignation from the club.
Parry has responded with a simple statement: “I remain focused on serving Liverpool Football Club.”
Hicks cannot force Parry’s dismissal without full backing from the club’s board of directors, including his business “partner”, George Gillett.
