The Liverpool Supporters Union, Spirit of Shankly, have launched their new website which enables supporters to become a member online.

SOS were formed in January - fuelled by the disgusting manner which Tom Hicks and George Gillett are running Liverpool FC - and are now the ‘country’s first football supporters union’.

In the long term SOS aim to bring about supporter representation at board room level, but the immediate and ongoing aims are already coming into fruition with reduced cost coach travel for the Rangers friendly being organised and intended for away matches this coming season.

Already SOS have held a Sportsman’s Evening with Joey Jones as guest, and have even held talks with DIC - the potential owners of Liverpool FC, who agreed to allow supporter representation on the board if they succesfully purchase the club.
