Andriy Voronin has left Liverpool for German club Hertha Berlin on a one-year loan deal, and has been replaced by the signing of exciting 18-year-old Brazilian striker Vitor Flora.

Flora signs on a free transfer from Brazilian outfit Botafogo and has signed a two year contract at Anfield.

Left-footed forward Flora is expected to make his Reds debut immediately when the Reserves face on Tuesday night.

He has an Italian passport, meaning no work permit application was required, although he still requires international clearance from the appropriate authorities.

In addition to the signings of Flora and Albert Riera from Espanyol, Liverpool also confirmed the capture of young Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, who spent last season on loan at Anfield from MTK Hungaria.

Voronin departs the club after failing to break into the first team on a regular basis. The 29 year old scored six goals for the Reds in his one season at Anfield.
