Ukranian international forward Andriy Voronin was officially confirmed as a Liverpool player on July 6th, after he had agreed a free transfer move from Bayer Leverkusen on 26 February 2007.

He is capable of playing just off the forward as a playmaker; Rafa Benitez said: “He is a player with pace and with good movement. He plays between the lines, between defenders. He is a good worker also, and he scores goals.”
