In August 2006 This Is Anfield forum regulars were challenged to a match by fellow fansite NSNO.co.uk – an Everton forum.
That first match took place on Stanley Park and NSNO ran out resounding winners. But a re-match took place for Christmas and the TIA lads had their revenge with a comfortable 9-0 thrashing!
The final match of the 2006-07 season was played on Saturday 19th May 2007 at the Bill Shankly Memorial Ground in West Derby, Liverpool. The match ended 4-4, therefore leaving the 2006-07 series level.
Since then regular matches have taken place between the two sides, raising money for LFC charities including the Ray of Hope appeal and Hillsborough Justice Campaign.
In June 2009, the TIA FC traveled to Ukraine for the EUROFans tournament, being interviewed on LFC TV prior to their trip. They will be attending the 2010 tournament too.
